Ember smiled widely at the little girl “Come here baby, sit beside mummy” she said, smiling as she simply patted the empty space beside her “Oh, get help from Daddy” she added, lightly giggling when she saw Jackie struggle to quickly get up the bed. When the girl was finally there, beside Ember. The girl simply wrapped her arms her and hugged her tightly then kissed her cheek “Well, this is all very surprising” Elizabeth started “I didn’t know that I’m a grandma now” she said, looking at Ember as she raised an eyebrow at him “What a cute little girl” she added, now looking at Jackie with a smile before she looked up at Ethan and gave him a look as if she was asking what he was doing there.
Ethan chuckled and helped Jackie up, making sure she wasn’t hurting Ember. “Mummy.” She said softly looking up at her. Ethan heard Ember’s mothers voice and looked at her. He gave her a small smile. “Hello Mrs. McClain.” He said before turning and looking at Ember. “Jackie wanted to visit you, heard you were hurt.” He told her as Jackie nodded quickly. “Mummy can’t be hurt, not good at all.” Jackie said shaking her head back and forth. Ethan chuckled.
Sitting in bed as her Mother sat on the couch, the girl simply played in her new phone that she got just last night “What would you like for dinner darling?” Elizabeth asked as she browsed through a magazine “I don’t know Mom, just not hospital food. Obviously” she said, shrugging before the girl looked up to the door when a knock was suddenly heard “Come in” she called out as a smile simply formed on her lips when Ethan entered with Jackie “Baby!”
Ethan had decided that he couldn’t take his daughters puppy eyes any longer and told her to grab her things. She wanted to visit Ember and Ethan wasn’t really complaining. He held her hand and teleported them to the hospital, teleporting them to a spot he knew he’d be hidden. Ethan walked out and toward Embers room. He knocked and came in when she told him to and watched as Jackie ran over to Ember. “Be careful Jack.” He said, reminding her that Ember was hurt, as she smiled at Ember. “Mummy!” she yelled. Ethan didn’t notice Ember mother.
Ember smiled at Ethan “Uhm, okay” she said, nodding “Sure” she added, biting her lower lip as she simply watched the boy walk over to the door
Ethan smiled and waved. “Bye.” He said before turning and walking out of the room.

Ember leaned back on her pillows and simply looked up at Ethan with a smile “Right” she said, biting her lower lip “Stay safe” she added, blushing as Ethan kissed her cheek “I love you” she muttered under her breath
Ethan smiled. “I will” He said. He heard her words and paused before moving his lips to kiss the corner of her lips before leaning back up. “Let me know when you are alright and out.” He said, walking toward the door.

“I’ll be fine” Ember said as she simply looked up at the boy and smiled at him “Thank you for being here, really” she added, nodding as she simply let her arms let loose around him
Ethan smiled at her before moving away from her and getting off the bed. “Like I said, no need to thank me.” He said with a smile before leaning down and kissing her cheek..

Ember smiled to herself as she simply closed her eyes and let out a small sigh when Ethan kissed her head again “You should be going..” she said “Jackie might be looking for you..” she added
Ethan knew she was right and nodded. “Yeah.” He said sighing. “You’ll be okay?” He asked, looking at her, not moving from the hold he had her in.

Ember sighed to herself as she simply reached out for the glass and drank from it. As soon as she reached at least half of the glass, the girl went back to her old position and sighed once again “Thank you”
Ethan smiled as she took drink of her water. He chuckled and shook his head. “No need to thank me.” He said, kissing her head.

Ember then looked at Ethan and smiled as she simply nodded right after before she wrapped went back to resting her head on his shoulder. Soon enough, the nurse with her glass of water came
Ethan chuckled and cuddled her close, smiling at the nurse when she came in. “Thank you.” He said as she put it on the tray next to Ember. “Drink.” he told her.

Ember looked up at Ethan and simply moved up to him where her cheek was in front of his lips. The girl then smiled as if all she wanted was a kiss
Ethan watched as she moved and chuckled at the realization of what she wanted. He leaned down kissed her cheek. “Better?” He asked, amused at her actions.

Ember then closed her eyes and sighed “My head hurts” she said, her voice low as if it was a whispered but her tone different as if she was speaking like a child.
